The information we collect
Information you give us. When you complete a contact or enquiry form, subscribe to our newsletter, request a consultation, or otherwise communicate with us, we may collect your name, practice or company name, email address, telephone number, the service you are interested in, and any information you include in your message.
Information we collect automatically. Like most websites, when you visit the Website we automatically collect certain information through cookies and similar technologies, including your IP address, browser type and language, device information, referring website, the pages you view and how you interact with them, and the date and time of your visit. Where you arrive via an advertising campaign, we also record campaign parameters (such as UTM tags) to understand which campaigns are effective.
How we use your information
We use your personal information to:
- respond to your enquiries and provide the marketing services you request;
- manage our relationship with you and provide support;
- send you newsletters and marketing communications where you have consented, and measure their effectiveness;
- understand how the Website is used, improve it, and measure the performance of our advertising;
- comply with our legal and regulatory obligations; and
- protect our rights, our property and the security of our Website.
We process your personal information on the basis of your consent, to perform a contract with you, to comply with the law, or for our legitimate business interests, as permitted by POPIA.
Cookies, analytics and advertising technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the Website, understand how it is used, and to deliver and measure advertising. These technologies are managed through Google Tag Manager and include:
- Google Analytics 4 — website analytics and usage measurement (Google LLC).
- Google Ads — conversion tracking and remarketing, so we can measure and advertise to people who have visited our Website (Google LLC).
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — advertising and conversion measurement on Facebook and Instagram (Meta Platforms, Inc.).
- TikTok Pixel — advertising and conversion measurement on TikTok (TikTok Inc.).
- LinkedIn Insight Tag — advertising and analytics on LinkedIn (LinkedIn Corporation).
- Microsoft Clarity — analytics and session insights that help us improve the Website (Microsoft Corporation).
Some of these providers are located outside South Africa and may process your information in other countries. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information continues to be protected in line with POPIA.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of interest-based advertising through Google Ad Settings, Your Online Choices, and the privacy settings of each advertising platform. Disabling cookies may affect how the Website functions.
Direct marketing and newsletters
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.) to manage our mailing list and send emails. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you may opt out at any time. We will not send you direct marketing without your consent where such consent is required by law.
Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:
- service providers (operators) who process information on our behalf — such as the analytics, advertising and email providers listed above, and our hosting and IT providers — under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations; and
- professional advisers and, where legally required, regulators, law-enforcement or government authorities.
How long we keep your information
We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, to provide our services, and to comply with our legal, accounting and reporting obligations, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.
How we protect your information
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to safeguard your personal information against loss, unauthorised access, disclosure or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or of electronic storage, is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
